The text message edit really adds to the movie and keeps the audiences engaged while waiting for the bigger scenes to arise. To the left, there are four pink boxes. These boxes are the text messages that I edited on Canva if you look below. Creating the text messages were easy. I just used a text message element, then put a text box in each message. I made sure to type in a specific way for the student and mother. The student is more laid back, while the mother texts formally. After I added each text, I green screened each one by coloring the back round green and color matching it in premiere pro to get rid of it.
Under the pink is the green sound bar, which I lined up texting sounds, send sounds, and receiving sounds for each message to give it more realism.
