Sound Editing

 

Editing the sound was an entire process on its own. Unfortunately, our camera did not pick up any sound, and if we used the microphones the entire time, it would pick up too much background noise. To troubleshoot this issue, I edited the sound of breathing, jiggling handles, and banging on the doors all my self from using a sound website call Pixabay. This website has non copy-right music and noises. Creating the sound was the most difficult part single-handedly. With all of the needed missing sounds, I also added heart beating, tense, stress inducing copy-right free music, and the lockdown announcement. Layering all of these was a long process because I hade to adjust the audio gain based on how loud each sound clip needed to be. I also needed to make sure every knock and handle jiggle was lined up exactly to the actors hands.
